WaterfrontEurope has a detailed knowledge and thorough understanding of the major institutions of the Council of the European Union,
the European Parliament and the European Commission.
This has enabled us to successfuly advice a wide range of clients:
• Helped a UK regulator develop its relationships in the European
Institutions allowing it to successfully engage on a number of consumer
and regulatory issues
• Developed a campaign in the European Parliament for a major UK trade
association - a client since 2001 - that sigificantly contributed to the
defeat of a Directive in the EU Parliament
• Assisted a UK trade association to develop its contact network in
Europe, enabling it to identify and improve significant liberalisation
and consumer protection legislation
• Provided campaigning support for a group of several major companies
in their campaign in both the UK and EU to highlight, review and
ultimately remove an unfair state subsidy
• Supported a major company with the launch of a new product at the EU
Parliament, executing a positive effect which generated significant
interest amongst MEPs and positive press coverage.
