The introduction of the Concessionary
Travel Scheme in April 2008 has provided a significant boost
to the use of Smartcards on public transport. This will
be increased further in 2010 when London Oyster cards incorporate
ITSO.
This
conference is aimed at local authorities and transport operators
helping them to understand the opportunities provided by
the technology both now and in the future and to share best
practice in scheme implementation.
