About the conference

The 2nd Annual Sustainable Development of the Liverpool City Region conference, held on the eve of the Capital of Culture year, looks at the development of the city so far.

It will examine the roles of new development and transport links in regeneration and attracting investment. It will also focus on the future; how Liverpool can ensure the structures are in place to capitalise on 2008, inviting further investment and securing a sustainable regeneration legacy.

The morning will concentrate on governance structures and the role of major development in changing the face of Liverpool and drawing in new businesses and investment.
