Nicholas Finney founded the Waterfront Conference Company in 1993. He is Managing Director of the Waterfront Conference Company and the Waterfront Partnership. Prior to setting up his own company, he was Director General of the National Association of Port Employers and the British Ports Federation. He is an acknowledged international expert on the constitution and operation of seaports and ports labour reform. He was a member of the Monopolies & Mergers Commission from 1993 to 1999.
