Catherine Timson

Head of Conference Production

Catherine joined the Waterfront Conference Company in 2005 and is responsible for producing the majority of Waterfront’s events as well as for supervising freelance conference writers working on specific conferences.

Over the years Catherine has built up a considerable range of knowledge as well as a broad array of contacts across Waterfront’s specialist areas. Catherine has a strong interest in policy issues particularly those relating to transport and planning and she enjoys the challenge of creating stimulating and innovative conference programmes attracting delegates from a wide range of sectors.

Catherine has an MA in History from the University of St Andrews; in her spare time she enjoys running and cycling and is learning German.
