Carrie Swift

Head of Conferences

Carrie Swift joined Waterfront Conference Company in January 2011, and manages the conference division.  She is responsible for driving forward the business and producing conference programmes across the transport, housing, planning and education sector for Waterfront’s conference delegates.

Carrie has several years of experience of working as a Senior Conference Producer on a range of events for both the public and private sector. Previously, she worked on a highly successful conference portfolio for the education sector. She is a creative thinker with a strategic approach to delivering high quality conference programmes that inform, educate and inspire audiences.

A graduate from the University of Sheffield, Carrie gained a BA Hons in English Language and Linguistics which included modules in Political Philosophy, English Literature, Sociology and Journalism.

Outside work, Carrie is passionate about music, people and psychology, and has an interest in neuro-linguistics, in which she has taken training courses for personal and professional development.
